1、Processing of logs and rotary cutting of wood veneer:
Cut and peel the logs, then place them in a steaming and boiling tank at 80-95 ℃ to soften them. Softening the wood is convenient for rotary cutting and reduces cracking of the wood face veneer.
The rotary cutting machine spins out thin veneers (usually 0.6~0.8mm thick) and cuts them into standard format veneers
Initial drying, reduce the moisture content of the veneer to 8-12%
2、Bleach (key process):
The veneer is sent to a bleaching tank and bleached with a hydrogen peroxide system to remove the wood's own pigments, impurities, and color spots, resulting in a clean and light white base color. This eliminates the color defects caused by natural color differences, knots, and knots in the wood, providing a base for subsequent coloring. Wash with water after bleaching.
3、Staining:
According to the color chart of the target wood grain (black walnut, cherry, red oak, white oak, etc.), use water-based wood dye to immerse the veneer in a dyeing tank to create multi colored veneer groups with different shades;
Different shades of exotic wood veneer are the foundation for later splicing of wood grain layers. Wash and dry again after dyeing.
4、Single board matching, repair, and assembly:
Artificial+computer scheme design wood grain: planning mountain/straight/tree knot patterns, matched with different shades of dyed veneers
Repair cracks and holes in the veneer, and remove non-conforming veneers
Stack and arrange veneers in the design order, orient the blanks, and preset the final wood grain direction based on the angle and number of layers of veneer stacking
5. Gluing and hot pressing:
The veneer is coated with environmentally friendly adhesive (water-based adhesive/modified phenolic adhesive), the slab is stacked and sent to the press for high-temperature and high-pressure bonding and solidification, and pressed into a compact * * technological wood billet * *.
6. Sawing and planing to produce wood veneer:
Wooden blocks with constant temperature and stable moisture content, sawn into corresponding specifications according to demand
Use a planer to cut and produce finished technological veneer (with thicknesses of 0.25mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.6mm, etc., consistent with natural veneer specifications)
7. Finished product processing, sorting and warehousing:
Drying and leveling of sliced technology wood veneer
Quality inspection and sorting: select cracks, bubbles, color difference defects, and classify them into grades
Cut to the length required by the customer, bundle and store in the warehouse
